As a result of the rapid development of economy and improvement of people’sliving standard, building energy efficiency becomes more and more important andindoor environmental comfort demand increases fast. The proportion ofair-conditioning system and lighting system are the largest in the building energyconsumption. The strongest factors affecting environmental comfort are air qualityand lighting. In this case, the paper which considers centralized management, decen-tralized control, the idea of strengthening user and system real-time interaction as aguide, designed the system of the indoor environmental automatic adjustment. Thearchitecture of the system is C/S architecture. The system is base on various sensordistributed in outdoor and indoor regions takes OPC technology as the intermediateand takes full account of user requirements and outdoor natural conditions. By regu-lating central air conditioning, lighting, blinds and windows in accordance with a cer-tain set of control strategies the system meets the comfort requirements and maximiz-es the reduction of energy consumption at the same time.This paper firstly analyzes the indoor environment regulation principle, and thenfocus on the energy-saving principle of central air conditioning system and intelligentlighting systems. On this basis, the systems integration approach is discussed, and theoverall program is designed. Next, this paper proposes five basic methods to improvethe performance of the system. The first is that according to the distribution of sensorsand equipment the whole space is divided into a number of regions, and personalizedadjustment is committed. The second is to reduce the requirements or stop the equip-ment in right natural conditions, during the holidays, at non-working time and no timeto reduce the environmental requirements. The third is to make full use of the influ-ence on the indoor environment from outdoor natural conditions, so that the equip-ment is less used. The fourth is to encourage users to reduce their environmental re-quirements through voting for low energy assumption. The fifth is that by providinguser-friendly interaction, to allow users to intervene in the process of automatic con-trol, so that personalized environmental requirements are met. Based on these fivemethods, this paper analyses analyzes the control strategy for temperature, humidity,CO2concentration and illumination and the process of automatic control is designed. Finally, the article describes the implementation of the three modules which isthe OPC module, network communication module and database module. Also themain function of this system is described.
