The intelligent home furnishing system connects the lighting equipment in the buildings to the network and achieves the effective management and control by making full use of electronic communication and computer network.The intelligent home furnishing system can create satisfactory ligthing environment for users and save the energy. What’s more.it can reduce the unnecessary lighting time and extend the lamp life, which has broad development prospects.This paper will focus on the subject of management system of intelligent indoor lighting system which bases on the ZigBee. The management system is developed by ASP.NET and MS SQL SEVER platform to manage and configure the lamps, for example, it can calculate the power consumption of lamps and adjust the light intelligently.The major work about this pape is listed as followed:1. Study the development of today’s indoor lighting system.According to the master plan of indoor lighting system, design the structure of manager system. The management system is divided into two parts.(1) The first one is server software.Server software connects the ethernet controller by TCP protocol to send the control message and configuration message to the ethernet controller, and receive the state message from the ethernet controller. What’s more, server software includes calculation of power consumption and the interface of lighting adjustments.(2) The second one is web management system which bases on BS architecture. The user can log on web management system by browser to control the lights.2. Design the datebase for the system. According to the requirement, datebase tables is listed as followed:the configuration table which stores the properties of the zigbee nodes; the real-time lighting control table which stores the real-time status of the lamps; the work log table which stores the power consumption of lamps; the plan lamps table which stores the lighting plans; user managerment table which stores the user’s information. The design of the data tables meet the requirements of the third normal form, which has the benefit of reducing the information redundancy and facilitating expansion.3. Design the functions of server software. The key point is the design of communication protocol between management system and ethernet controller which includes the configuration protocol, the control frame protocol and the zigbee reply frame protocol. Finish the communication module with ethernet controller. In order to reduce the system response time, the server software sends and receives message from terminals by the ways of socket and multiple threads. Finally, introduce the interface of lighting adjustments and exception processing module.4. Design the web management system which is the human-computer interaction interface. It includes following modules, user administration module,real-time control module,statistical analysis module and global configuration module.5. Test the system. Carry out complete test, test the modules and the perfection of the management system. The test results show that the modules of management system can work stably for a long time, response quickly and occupy less resources. Howerver,the compatibility of web management system is poor on some browser, needs to be improved.Generally speaking,the management system is an important part of the indoor lighting system. It can manage the lamps flexibly, improved the quality of luminous environment in the room and save the energy. The management system has important practical significance and broad application prospect in pathology.
