In view of the electrical energy waste in the lighting management of university teaching building, it's necessary to design a set of intelligent lighting control system for the teaching building. As a kind of field bus, CAN bus has a lot of advantages such as strong real-time, high reliability, high rate of communication, simple structure and good interoperability. As an underlayer oriented serial communication, LIN bus offers auxiliary functions for CAN bus, and CAN/LIN mix network can make some cost down. Therefore, studying intelligent lighting control system of the teaching building is much more significant.Firstly, the researching status of intelligent lighting control system in the teaching building is analyzed, a systematic scheme of intelligent building lighting control system based on CAN/LIN bus is suggested, and a set of systematic structure and functions of LIN control subnet for classroom is designed.Secondly, according to the LIN protocol standard and considering the factors like requirements, cost, and difficulty level etc., the physical solution which is based on AT89C52 + TJA1020 is determined.Thirdly, as the most important part of this thesis, the realizing method of LIN communication protocol is researched. Through using structured programming methodology, and according to the layered structure model of LIN bus protocol, the communication protocol based on single-chip 51 is realized. Through programming to the data link layer and application layer of LIN protocol, the sending and receiving of frames between nodes of the LIN bus communication network is completed, as well as the entire network in the good condition. Through defining the interface between the communication system and user application, the communication system lays a good foundation for the expanding of system control function; the validity of the programs are verified through debugging and simulating in Proteus software simulation environment.Lastly, a sample application is offered to explain how to realize the control function based on LIN bus communication system.Based on the requirements of thesis, this paper gave all details on how to achieve the intelligent lighting control system of the teaching building, at same time the LIN bus communication system is designed. Many experiments proved that this system scheme is reasonable; it has certain compatibility and expansibility and provides a certain reference value for the intelligent lighting control system of the teaching building, so it will be widespread promoted.
