Because of the rapid development of wireless communications and micro-systems, thewireless sensor technology rise continually.However, because sensor nodes are short of goodprotection and the resource, they are vulnerable to attack and capture of the adversary, and itsnetwork structure always changs dynamically,therefore, the traditional key managementapproach is difficult to apply in wireless sensor networks, wireless sensor network securityhas become an important issue.Single key management method,in practical applications,is extremely difficult to ensurethe whole network security, only employing various forms of key management methods inaccordance with the needs of the network can improve the network security. In this paper, wedesign a key management model based on a three-cluster structure with EBS, symmetricpolynomials, group key management and self-healing methods. The model,consisted of keygeneration, key calculation, key self-healing as well as addition and revocation of the nodes,is a complete and effective scheme. This scheme divided the entire network into three layers:the base station, the cluster head node layer and the sensor node layer. Each layer has its ownrespective role: the base station is responsible for the entire network of key distribution andthe entire network data aggregation;the cluster head node layer is responsible for control andmanagement information broadcasting;the sensor node layer is responsible for sensor datacollection. Layer stratification makes the network easier to manage and control, makesresources more reasonable to use, consequently it’s in line with the actual use of wirelesssensor networks.In this scheme,we use the combination of the EBS and the two-variable symmetricpolynomial to enable the scheme to resist the conspiracy attack and to have betterconnectivity and good survivability in cluster head node layer,,which ensures the safety of thecluster head node layer.In addition, for some self-healing schemes can not effectively resistthe conspiracy attack, this paper presents an improved self-healing scheme, so that the sensornode have self-healing ability,simultaneously, and have key confidentiality, the backwardsecurity and forward security.This is due to the cluster head node layer is the core part of theentire network, it play a connecting role, so this article pay more attention to the securityabout this layer.At any time,the underlying sensor nodes layer often occurs exception and ithas weak energy, so we employ self-healing group key management in this layer. Finally, the safety analysis, performance analysis as well as comparion with otherschemes show the improvement in the storage overhead, communication overhead,computational overhead of our scheme, which proves that our scheme is safe, effective andaccord with the practical application of wireless sensor networks.
