The explosive growth of Internet information leads to the amount ofinformation overload. It has become more and more difficult to obtain theinformation which people care about on the internet. RSS aggregation platformprovides people withdiversifiedand personalized access to their own concernnetwork information.With the continuous update of the RSS data source, the amount of data on theinformation platform becomeslarger and larger. And the search engine in theplatform has become the main tool for users to retrieve information.The paper focuses on the search engine for RSS feed aggregation system.Through the RSS data source characteristics, the paper puts forward a search modelwhich based on the RSS data source evaluation algorithm and Lucene. The modelmakes the search results ordered closer to the characteristics of the RSS data source.It provides the better search service of our system. The major work of the paper is asfollows:Firstly, through the statistics and analysis of the RSS data source, the paperfindsthat the activity and authorityof RSS feed are different. The paper analyzes thesorting algorithms which are widely used, and proposes the RSS data sourceevaluation algorithm. The quality of RSS data source can be measured by thealgorithm.Secondly, the paper designs a search model based on the RSS data sourceevaluation algorithm and Lucene. The model makes the search results more in linewith the characteristics of the RSS data source. And it provides the better searchservice of the system. The model has been proven to be effective.Finally, the paper uses Lucene to build a search engine framework. And theframework is embedded into a RSS resource aggregation system. The paper followsthe principle of software engineering to realize the search module of the system.
