In recent years, with the energy shortage and serious deterioration of the environmentproblems, no pollution, zero emissions clean pure electric vehicle development is moreand more use of governments and people’s attention. In this context, the subject is thework in liuzhou local production of1.5displacement of JingYi electric car instrumentsystem reform, in order to improve the operation efficiency of electric vehicle and vehiclestate real-time detection for the purpose. Design will be embedded ARM chip and itsinterface circuit as control core module, configuration color LCD screen touch screenman-machine interface circuit, design CAN bus communication circuit, construct thevehicle driving control circuit.The design of this project based on CAN bus is pure electric vehicles instrumentdevice design control core chip LPC2478by ARM, the chip is32bit ARM7TDMI-Skernel micro controller. The electric car the instrument shows using LED lights and colorLCD screen, man-machine interface choose Beijing di wen technology Co., LTD. Of theproduction of the5.7"touch screen DMT64480S05701W, adopt RS232connected toLPC2478serial port. Design instrument interface circuit, mainly including the CAN businterface circuit, pulse count interface circuit, I/O interface circuit, etc. CAN bus interfacecircuit and main electric car other communication module, receiving the electric car othermodules of data sent over. Pulse count interface circuit mainly accept electric vehiclespeed sensor sends over the pulse signal. The I/O interface circuit mainly accept electriccars switch quantity signals, for example, brake lights, in the car, seat belt and signal.According to the requirements of practical application of μ C/OS-II relevant code modifythe μ C/OS-II transplanted to LPC2478hardware platform. According to the pure electriccar’s performance and requirements, drawing tools for making use of the electric vehicleinterface, making good pictures downloaded to a touch screen, write serial interfacecommunication programs achieve the touch screen and ARM’s communication function.The electric car instrument device can be effective electric cars will speed, distance,alarm information, battery remaining power, as well as various conventional informationdisplayed in the LCD screen, the display information rich variety, interface switch isfluent, and completed the laboratory test. Each part of the circuit system running basicstability, reasonable design, project to the desired effect. There are still improvement andspace, paper presented at last further improvement of thought.
