With the rapid development of the communication network and informationtechnology, users in the emerging Multimedia Social Networks (such as Youtube,GoogleVideo, Youku and so on) can flexibly share or experience any copyrighteddigital content (like electronic book, digital image, audio/video, Java kind of mobileapplication software and so on) anytime and anywhere. That will lead to more severeproblems of rights protecting and security threats: the abuse and the maliciousdistribution of the digital contents; unsafe (embedded malicious code), untrusted (thecontents are inconsistent with the user’s declaration) digital contents cheat and so on.How to ensure digital contents/rights can be safely and flexibly shared according to theusers’ will, and ensure users get the satisfied digital contents have become a newchallenge for DRM (Digital Rights Management, DRM) in Social networks.Users in the Multimedia Social networks usually share digital contents based onsome extend trust relationship, the trust relationships between users in the networkdirectly affect the ways of digital contents sharing and dissemination. In order toeffectively evaluate the trust relationships:1) By analyzing the characteristics ofdigital content sharing scene, we transform the Multimedia Social Networks trustmodeling issue into building trust model in user centered small world networks. Basedon the properties of trust, characteristics of digital content sharing scene and smallworld theory, an intra-domain trust evaluation model is presented;2) By analyzing thecharacteristics of weak ties between different domains and improving the relatedparameters, an inter-domain trust model is presented, the recommended path searchingalgorithm, the different recommend trust synthesis strategies and the comprehensivetrust evaluation algorithm are also proposed;3) We implement the trust model and therelated algorithms and simulate the digital contents sharing progress in the VirtualCommunity structured by UCINET to validate the model from three aspects: trustcomputing window mechanism, direct trust evaluation and recommend trust evaluation. The simulation results show that: the inter-domain trust model can update users’trust values in real time, fit different risk types of digital content sharing scene; thetrust computing window mechanism can encourage users to share the digital contentssafely and legally; our model can also accurately identify the malicious sharing usersby setting trust threshold. So, our model can reduce the infringement sharing behaviorsand security threats during the sharing progress, it has great important theoreticalsignificance for building healthy and harmonious digital content sharing community...
