With the rapid development and in-depth study of the Internet, the software‘s forms,methods and operating environment has been challenged for the new generation of networktechnology and its application. The traditional closed, static operating environment has beendifficult to adapt to new software technology. How to achieve the resource sharing andintegration in an open, dynamic and difficult to control environment have been become a keychallenge for software technology. Because of the emergence of the Internetware’s conceptsand methods, various resources on the Internet can be abstracted into component forms,component is a feature-oriented software entities. Only through interaction and collaborationduring entities can achieve the function of the system. Therefore, to solve the trust problemduring the entities is a most important issue for the Internetware technology.The paper reviewed and analyzed the current appeared, typical trust models, andanalyzed the performance and architecture of each model. Compared the advantages anddisadvantages of each model, proposed using of complex network theory and methods tosolve trust problems between entities in large-scale distributed network environment. Andbuild the trust model of Internetware which based on small-world network.The paper attempts to introduce the characteristics of the small-world network intothe trust model of Internetware, proposes a new trust model for Internetware which basedon small-world network, it can adapt to the large-scale distributed complex networkenvironment, and proposes the trust model constructor method. The model made areasonable abstract method to the component entities, and the entities which distributed on theInternet were divided into a number of component groups. Introduce the high aggregationand low path length’s characteristics of the small-world network into the trust model, buildshort-range connections within the groups, and long-range connections during theinter-groups. In this model presents a new evaluation strategies for entities and presents a newsearch method for the credible component entities, through the features of small worlddistribution of the components, can improve the trust evaluation’s efficiency and can improvethe network convergence rate, reduce the network load and the length of trust path, reduce therisk of trust evaluation. Finally, thought simulation experiments analyzed and validated the validity and robustness of the model, and through experiment proved the search method forthe credible components.
