The electric power monitoring system which processes each kind of accident and alarmevent, realizes movementing of the electricity system. the device of each kind of substationand OCS for the all-line Urban Mass Transir are also remote real-time controlled, monitoredand measurement by the electric power monitoring system. Real-time database is a corewhich the entire electric power monitoring system processes, nearly any system function allistruthfully when database entrance, also is revolving the real-time database this corerealization. Data is the application function foundations of the electric power monitoringsystem, It is very important to design a good performance, real-time, reliable and efficientreal-time database. In addition, the graphical user interface is the interface of Man-machineinteraction. A good graphic user interface can provide users with rich function, intuitive andtransparent operation mode. It can response speed which is operated and managed easily.Based on the above problems, the paper analysises the requirement firstly and thendesign the system framework.For the system design, the real-time database is one of the key design. By usingobject-oriented technology for data modeling, this paper design the data table of the real-timedatabase combining with IEC61970Standards and the specific application, and realizes thereal-time database of SCADA by referencing to the ideas of Hibernate. the multiplesubsystem chooses XFire for development framework using Web Service. Users through theWeb server access the database and inquire the data.As with the user’s direct interaction, the paper choose Spring RCP technology as thebasis of the architecture of user interface. This paper describes the overall design of interfaceand the processing logic of interface graphics based on SVG.Finally, generalized research effort, point out the further research issues and directionsfrom application foreground and technology development.
