In the large-scale semiconductor manufacturing industry, Computer IntegratedManufacture is a key component; it’s hard to work manually without it. Therefore, it’snecessary to make CIM system run steady and efficiently in the semiconductormanufacturing industry. In practice we found that the main reasons that caused CIMsystem crash are the bugs in software rather than the failure of hardware. Thereforewe developed a CIMS monitor system to monitor the resource of system, includingmemory, application and software resource (such as MBX, Tuxedo, Weblogicresource). By analyzing these data, we can make a reasonable judgment to the statesof CIM system, and determine whether the current system can support the largerproduction capacity or not, to provide a basis for the corporation planning.This thesis presents the analysis, design, implementation and possible applicationof the Performance Monitor System (PMS) of Computer Integrated ManufacturingSystem (CIMS) respectively. Firstly, the thesis presents the architecture of CIMS inthe current semiconductor manufacturing industry, and describes the architecturebased the Tuxedo, Weblogic and MBX system respectively; In addition, focuses onthe design of the PMS of CIMS, and details in the design of data collection, datastorage, and data presentation. Besides, introduces in detail the realization way of thePMS of CIMS, that is, data collection is implemented by SNMP and Web Service,and data storage is implemented by RRD(Round Robin Database), and datapresentation is implemented by MVC which includes Spring, JSF and RRD. Last butnot least, presents the function and practical significance.
