Wireless sensor network (Wireless Sensor Network, WSN) is a set of integratedintelligent system for acquisition, processing, transmission of information. In manyother fields such as military, medical, nursing, intelligent home furnishing,environmental monitoring, forecasting system, building monitoring, remote control indanger zones have broad application prospects in which international academy, industryhave attached importance to. In America, the MIT Technology Review and BusinessWeekly make the prediction of future technology development that the wireless sensornetwork is the21most influential technologies and one of the10technologies changingthe world in twenty-first Century.Accessing sensor network into Internet makes the vital significance to drive thefuture network development. How to make the wireless sensor network connect withInternet effectively is an urgent problem to be solved. IPv6which is as the core of nextgeneration Internet protocol with the large address space, automatic addressconfiguration, mandatory safety measures and IPSec mechanism makes it feasible forthe large-scale application in wireless sensor networks. At the beginning, IPv6was notdesigned for the application of low power embedded sensor nodes, which makes IPv6protocol a challenging problem.This paper mainly discusses and analysis the service model of wireless sensornetwork based on IPv6protocol. The main works of this dissertation are as following:(1) This paper proposed a service model accessing wireless sensor network intoIPv6network, a service management platform is added in the wireless sensor networkreference model, which is available for the wireless sensor network accessing to Internetto offer a new solution.(2) In the network layer of the service Gateway, this paper focuses on the keyproblems such as solving the IPv6address mapping, WSN routing protocol and how tooptimize multi-user service requests.(3) To test the function of this service-provide model, a set of laboratory system isdesigned and constructed. The test results shows in this model that it providesconveniences to the users’ access to sensor network resources and it is a transparentconnecting way. On the other hand, this model can prioritize the service requests from multi-user. Therefore it will reduce the checking times of sensor network and energyconsumption, prolongs the life expansion of the network.
