Design And Implement Of IPv6 Security Gateway System

In the beginning of 1998, the basic structure of IPv6 got mature. Atthe end of the same year, the special workgroup--Ngtrans was set upby IETF. It specialized on the transition strategy and necessary technology from IPv4 to IPv6. In 1996, the international IPv6experiment network--6bone was built up. Nowadays 6bone hasspread into more than 50 countries and zones around all over the world, become the main platform of all the researcher and developer based on IPv6. Since 2001, the country plan committee, science department, IT department began research projects on IPv6 in succession, such as 863 high efficient IPv6 router project was divided into hardware, protocol stack software and test, all of these invited public bidding. The other related tasks was published then.As the development of Internet and some multimedia business such as audio, video and data, we request more from network, so the next generation network emerged. In the NGN the first problem need to besolved is IP address problem--IPv6. The new business increased, andthe security is necessary and crucial. So the security technology in IPv4 couldn't satisfy the need in IPv6. And it's very significant to do research in security gateway under IPv6.In the thesis I mainly do some research on the main structure design under IPv6 environment, then write about the design in detail on threemain module parts--group filtering, NAT-PT and routing.
