The Research And Theory Construction On Anchoring

As mass-media plays more and more important role in the society, Anchor and Anchoringbecome to be a much hot topic. The research on it started from the early1980s, and has lasted forthree decades. But, there are still many questions to be solved. How about the development ofthe research on anchoring? Is here a mature theory? What’s the trend of it? These are the basicproblems the thesis is to focus on. The article takes Research on Anchoring as the object of study,makes a summary on anchoring and the research on it firstly; and then makes scientificevaluation on the research based on certain standards. As a conclusion, the thesis gives someadvice on the theory construction. Firstly, renamed the discipline, make broadcasting subordinateto anchoring. Secondly, refine the core values of research on anchoring, make the systemconsists of history、fundamental theory and applied research. Finally, establish the subject“Anchoring Linguistics” as the main branch of research on anchoring.
