| Warehouse management is a very important part for B2C e-commerce. It is also themost controllable component of the whole supply chain in B2C. The high efficiencywarehouse management can directly affect the enterprise performance and customerservice quality. Information technology is the primary tool to improve the efficiency ofwarehouse management at present. The design and implementation of warehousemanagement system have become the focus of e-commerce industry, which can help toimprove the efficiency of B2C fulfillment center. In order to meet the needs of B2Ce-commerce industry and improve the efficiency of warehouse manufacturing, this paperdesigns a feasible warehouse management system for B2C e-commerce industry.This paper sets the study of warehouse management system of B2C e-commerce asthe primary goal. Based on existing research, this paper introduces the development statusof warehouse management system, describes the importance to B2C e-commerce, andsummarizes the functional and performance requirement of warehouse managementsystem for B2C by analyzing the business process. Then, this paper presents the generaldesign and detailed design of the system with ASP.net and SQL Server2008. The designincludes database structure, interface, data flow and security policy. This paper discusseskey modules of the system, including login, quality assurance and receiving,replenishment, order and invoice printing, etc. At last, this paper also presents theinfrastructure structure and network architecture associated with the warehousemanagement system application, including network diagram, WLAN, terminal equipmentand so on. |
