Ttcan Bus Technology Application In Automobile Communication System Research

Due to its good data communication function, CAN bus has been widely used in thecurrent automotive electronic control system. However, due to the non-destructivearbitration mechanism of CAN bus, CAN messages are transmitted according to thepriority level of CAN nodes, this may cause the delay of message sent in automobiles thatneed high real-time message transmission. The TTCAN protocol is an upgrade of the CANprotocol to meet the real-time requirements of the automobile, what is particularlyimportant that TTCAN node is fully compatible with the CAN nodes can be easilyintroduced based on CAN bus.The TTCAN bus communication devices are designed to meet the actual car runningand it includes a master node and four slave nodes. The master node is responsible for thestorage of information, the unity of the global time, and communication information fromthe node. The slave nodes are responsible for the status communication of differentautomotive electronic systems. I chooses the engine control system, four-wheel steeringsystem, antilock brakes, suspension control system as the the TTCAN communicationsdevice communication object. The chip AT89C51CC03was used as microcontroller chipto synchronize trigger time. According to the communication time of four kinds ofautomotive electronic systems, I design time schedule, arrange periodic signal into anexclusive window and non-periodic signal into the arbitration window. I use correspondingfunction to optimize the time schedule in order to ensure real-time message transmission.The main research significance of this paper is that both TTCAN bus and CAN busare used in automobile electronic systems to meet the car real-time requirement.
