In electrical system and other modern industrial control system, the demand ofmulti-master node CAN network increases very fast. The traditional CAN protocol canhardly meet the demand of the system of this multi-master environment. TTCAN (TimeTriggered communication on CAN), which is based on the event triggered protocol ofthe normal CAN, has a mechanism of time triggered protocol which ensure that the lowpriority news can be send in time. Based on TTCAN protocol, this thesis did thefollowing research.According to the complicated communication needs of multi-master node network,we modified the reference news sending mechanism. The generation method of typicalsystem matrix cycle of TTCAN was change to a new one with a higher degree offreedom which can realize TTCAN protocol communication in a multi-master nodenetwork with the help of corresponding time slice length matrix. We also simulate thedata link communication of CAN in the saber software under the worst communicateenvironment. A simulation of TTCAN network application layer also has been done inthe Simulink platform, which verifies that it can successfully work in the multi-masternode network and complete the communication task. According to the results of thesimulation, a multi-master node CAN network based on TTCAN was constructed andoperated in a practical electric project.
