With the rapid development of computers, multimedia technology has beenwidely used. Multimedia courseware, as a main part of Computing Aided Instructionsystem, has become an effective tool for teachers to expand teaching view, createteaching situation and make up teaching deficiency. Among the various multimediadevelopment platforms, Authorware software is more popular because it has theadvantages of powerful interactive function, flexible man-machine dialogue mannerand good compatibility. However, at present there are many common shortages inthe courseware used at home and abroad, such as the separation from users toproducers, linear design, lack of interactive content, and poor curing and portability,which make the courseware design technology isolate from teaching situation anddemand, and poor flexibility. Among these shortages the two problems of "contentcuring, poor portability" make the courseware content cannot update once completed,and it cut off the exchange of information from outside. This limits the use range ofthe courseware seriously, and the courseware has poor utilization ratio, which resultsthe double waste of human and material. For these two problems, this paper makes anextensive study and deep exploration.According to the problems existing in the current courseware, the research focusof "Design and implementation of open multimedia courseware system" is to studythe methods of establishment of courseware model and management of variousinternal objects, including the practical applications of using Authorware externalfunctions and Access database to design Authorware courseware, creating openmultimedia courseware model, and solving the problems of open management andpoor portability of the courseware content. The open multimedia courseware systemdeveloped may exchange information with external and update content, so as toimprove the courseware using range and utilization ratio.The major innovation of the open multimedia course system is that it may openlymanage the various contents after courseware packed, and also realize therenewability of the student self-test system. This system is suitable for theapplications of multi-teacher, multi-content and multi-disciplinary. The research mayhave little benefit on the improvement of the computer application level and the usageof the teaching resources more scientific and reasonable. |
