Design And Implementation Of Hotel Collaborative Management Platform Based On Jbpm

Nowadays the competition of the hospitality industry in China is increasingcontinuously, with the industry facing new opportunities and challenges, whichincludes the growing demand for the quantity and quality of hotel service, especiallypersonalized hotel service. The advanced information technology, by providing thepossibility of the collaborative management software, is changing the industry’straditional competing pattern. This paper, based on the actual needs of the hospitalityindustry, argues that the informatization construction of the industry should be furtherpromoted, by developing a new generation of collaborative management platformthrough cooperation of industry, academe and research institutes to better serve thecustomers and enhance enterprises’ market competiveness.The practice of this paper is based on the research project of the Development ofNetwork Collaborative Marketing Management Platform for Hotels Group, whichoffers system users great convenience in sharing information resources andassociating internal business, also enable them to expand the application according totheir actual needs, and provide the unique features of visualized workflow design andform design.In the phase of requirements analysis and system overall design, the HotelCanton’s day-to-day operation was clarified through on-site inspection; the projectoverall design was completed after studying the domestic and foreign collaborativemanagement software; JBPM4.4and CKEditor was selected as the developmentcomponents of the collaborative management platform, after comparing a list ofworkflow engines and web editors; Dynamic Password device was chosen as the toolsfor authentication through research into authentication devices.In the phase of system detailed design and implementation, modules includingworkflow management, form design, schedule management and contact managementwere designed and implemented based on the system overall design; the TOTPauthentication solution for enterprise application was designed and implemented;business logic layer interface for the platform was designed and instruction of the external interface expansion was completed.The project, after running for more than four months inside Hotel Canton, hasshowed a remarkable effect, and met the hotel’s needs. In addition, the TOTPidentification solution helps the hotel save millions of cost.
