Two-phase flow is widely existed in nature and many engineering technology, and dueto the mass transfer and chemical reactions between phases along with the flow of two-phasefluid, make itself have the diversity and complexity, therefore it has been be regarded as a"hard" fluid in the research work. In a wide variety of production field, the need ofmeasurement for two-phase flow parameters is more and more urgent.In this subject, two-phase flow which flow from down to up in a vertical pipe is theresearched object, the simulation research adopted a related flow measurement systemcomposed of capacitance sensor, basing on measurement technology of cross-correlation.The subject systematically expounded two phase theoretical basis and implementation ofprograms of the discrete phase velocity measurements basing on the capacitance signaldetection technologies and related flow measurement techniques. This paper selectedsoftware MATLAB, taked the measure of the computer simulation and experimental study,and studied the mechanism of capacitance cross-correlation velocity measurement composedof capacitance sensor based on discrete phase concentration measurement.The subjest adopted random process theory to establish two-phase flow model, usedMonte-Carlo method to study the effects of "solidified flow chart-type" and "non-solidifiedflow chart-type", discrete phase concentration, particle size and velocity distribution on thecross-correlation measurement system, and cleared the physical meaning of cross-correlationspeed. Do simulation test by a variety of cross-correlation algorithm and the two-phase flowmodel in the same flow model in different conditions. By a large number of simulation indifferent conditions, measurement results was comparative analysised.A large number of tests and studies have shown that the reasonable, effective way toresearch the Cross-correlation measurement techniques for two-phase flow is that throughMonte Carlo Method studied the relevant velocity measurement system based on the cross-correlation technique. And it provided theory basis for the measurement of discrete phaseconcentration and the design and application of cross-correlation phase concentration massflow measurement system.
