As a traditional power in agriculture, China’s huge population in rural, the situation of rural development is serious, the Central successively issued a total of 11 with "three rural" as the theme of the Central Document No.1. Thus solving the "three rural" issue, effectively promoting the new rural construction, the central focuses of the Central Rural Work in a long period of time in the futureare.As the highest level of agricultural education, higher agricultural education must play the key role in supportting the rural development and construction.Rural economic backwardness, irrational economic structure, meager income of the farmers,surplus rural labor force, agricultural product quality, safety and market competitiveness issues are long-standing and so on, these issues must be directly faced by the rural development. In the process of building a new socialist countryside, Cultivateing a new high-quality agricultural laborers, promoting agricultural development of modern, urban and rural development, maintaining sustainable agricultural production and so on,are the functions an assets of agricultural university education.The content of this study is divided into seven parts. The first part describes the background to the study, research significance ,relevance of research, Main research contents, innovation points, technical line and research methods, direction and the basic situation of the study in order to form a basic framework. The second is to introduce some of the major development of Chinese higher education,including historical evolution, current situation, problems, etc. The third part analyzes the feasibility and basis of supportting rural development by higher agricultural education theoretically.In the fourth part,empirical analysis is made through the survey,to provide reference to the supportting of the rural development by higher agricultural education .Part V is a foreign comparative overview of the development model. Measures to support rural development and construction by Fujian higher agricultural education were proposed in Part VI. Conclusion and outlook were made in Part VII.Literature review method was used to classify the literature about domestic and international higher agricultural education and rural development. Survey method was used to understand the real situation in rural areas in Quanzhou,Longyan,Nanping. Comparative analysis was used to refer the model of foreign development.Logistic regression was used to analyze the factors affecting the supporting of rural development by higher agricultural education. Research method is simple and operable. Based on the analysis and the investigation, comparative analysis of the pros and cons of overseas development support model,systematic and comprehensive analysis of routing, puttingforward innovative ideas,in order to recieve optimal allocation of resources, improve service efficiency, enhance the effects of agriculture,make the services to rural development in maximum,having a certain reference significance and practical value in a certain reference significance and practical value.
