Research On Implementation Strategy Of Geography New Curriculum For Chongqing Senior High School

The key period at present, the high school geography new curriculum reform, the newcurriculum can achieve practical results, this paper takes Chongqing city as a case,selects several representative schools, on the basis of literature review, questionnaire,interviews and other forms of participation in the new curriculum of teachers andstudents. Survey, found that the implementation of the new curriculum geography ofChongqing bright spot in the new geography curriculum but also the existing problemsin the implementation, mainly displays in five aspects: first, the geography classroomwith the new curriculum requirements gap; second, the geographic Class time does notagree with the teaching practice; third, part of teachers in the new curriculum ofgeography understand there is a certain bias; fourth, the curriculum resources can notmeet the teaching needs; last, parents of students to understand, do not fit to the newcurriculum.Aiming at these problems, this paper puts forward some immature suggestions: toeducation management departments to strengthen supervision and guidance to theimplementation of the new curriculum classroom; reform the strategy of teachingevaluation; increase the number of hours of geography teachers and renew ideas;increase investment, guarantee the implementation of the new geography curriculum.Second, that teachers should strengthen theoretical study, update teaching concept,improve their teaching ability, improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching, tomake the process of the implementation of the new curriculum has become theprofessional growth of teachers. Last, for parents to understand, accept, support thenew lesson, only in all aspects of social support and cooperation to the new curriculumreform of the smooth implementation of geography.
