In the world today, the competition among countries is becoming moreand more fierce, and the key to win the competition is to own high qualitytalent. Moreover, the key to improve the quality of people and the competitionability of talent is in education, especially basic education. As a veryimportant basic subject, Mathematics in high school undertakes crucial tasks.Moreover, as a key subject in entrance examination, teachers, students andparents especially pay much attention to mathematics. Since the newcurricular reform, though math class in China has made some changes, thereindeed are some problems: with the guide of entrance examination,exam-oriented education that only stresses on theory and conclusionregardless of practice still exists; moreover, class teaching method is simpleand boring; besides, using resting time to make up missed classes can be seeneverywhere; in fact, students are not active to learn math with so much burdenon them. The mentioned above all has influence on education effectiveness,and is a problem which new basic education reform must face.Based on this, this paper researches on the strategies of how to makemath class teaching more efficient. Through wide and careful research ondocuments and materials as well as teaching theory, combined with surveyanalysis on pacific situation in math teaching and learning in Erdos First HighMiddle School by the way of questionnaire, interview with teachers,observing class teaching and so on, this paper makes a research on theeffective teaching strategy in high middle school math class, aiming atmaking the class teaching more effectiveness, and guaranteeing successfulimplementation of new curriculum teaching content. At the same time, it aimsat offering some suggestions about how to improve math teaching and make math teaching more efficient for math teachers so as to scientifically andcomprehensively guide teacher’s real math teaching in high middle school.From the angel of a math teacher, this paper actively researches on thestrategies and methods of how to improve teaching effectiveness in highmiddle school math class. These strategies and methods include strategy ofhow to prepare a math lesson efficiently, strategy of how to teach a mathlesson, strategy of how to ask questions efficiently, strategy of how to designexercises, strategy of how to encourage students as well as strategy of how toreflect math teaching effectively. Moreover, this paper uses specific teachingexamples in each strategy. Besides, this paper makes teaching experiments intwo classes and makes comparison in order to demonstrate that these teachingstrategies play a crucial role in making the math class teaching more eiffcient.
