"Quality education" and "effective teaching" have become a hot topic in the educational circles since the implementation of the curriculum reform in 2004.However,in the actual teaching,there are some conflicts about adapting to the social development goals of education and the existing entrance selection system,and many high school in the underdeveloped areas are still struggling in the examination oriented education and quality education,routine operation and new educational concept.Based on western"effective teaching","high-effective teaching" is equipped with "initiative,vivid and generative" characteristics.Under the guidance of the multiple intelligence,meaningful learning,cooperative learning,and biology curriculum standard of senior high school,how to use teaching strategies to achieve "less time-consuming,high quality,and more benefit" is the goal of high-effective teaching.With literature review to know the process of high-effective teaching and related teaching model,in-depth interview and questionnaires survey are the main approaches of this paper,which investigated the present situation of biology teaching and its evaluation and the use of teaching resources in our school and the senior schools in northern Guangdong's mountainous areas.First,based on the analysis of results of the investigation of educational theory and practice of "meaningful teaching,multiple intelligence theory",six teaching strategies are put forward,such as "creating the situation,setting up the problem string,contacting reality,constructing the concept map,multi sensory cognition,and cooperative inquiry".Then,the paper explored how to use specific teaching strategies to teach biology effectively in the new class,experimental class,revision class in the mountainous high school.Finally,it can provide teaching reference and research prospects for the teaching strategies of biology in mountainous areas through analyzing the selection of biology teaching strategies,and reflecting the teaching evaluation methods of the existing biological teaching.
