Zhu Yongxin said that " a person’s mental development history is hisreading history ", The reading is very important for human development.The requirements of the new curriculum standards and is consistent, so thecurrent primary school Chinese teaching to promote the cultivation ofstudents’ autonomous reading ability, especially primary school studentsautonomous reading ability. Independent reading teaching emphasizes onstudent’s main body status in reading, students in the reading processindependent behavior way and the cognition characteristic. In independentreading teaching of primary school Chinese class, the student full possessionof processes and links to read, to realize the personalization reading, criticalreading and creative reading. With the establishment of the concept oflifelong learning, learning has become an important problem in the theory ofeducation research. How to learn? How in the shortest possible time toactively cultivate the ability of obtaining the knowledge? Reading is a basicway for people to obtain knowledge and information, reading can improvelearning ability, reading can grow in wisdom. The present investigationsituation, negative status in most of the students reading ability is low, willmake it difficult for the students to adapt to the future society of reading andreading teaching students, the school should be the foundation of the readingability of students, and improve students’ ability of reading in the readingteaching becomes a brook no delay problem.Theoretical study on the high period of primary school studentsautonomous reading, overview and strategy research, interpretation of highprimary school students reading ability cultivation of the main content ofautonomous reading primary school pupils. This paper is mainly to solve the key problem is to understand thecharacteristics of the students in the corresponding age, teachers andstudents to adopt the corresponding strategy, to enable students to improveindependent reading ability in reading, so that they will last a lifetime.
