Research On Education Function And Optimization Strategy Of University Student Associations

Students’ Association is the inevitable result of the historical development of higher education, as a sharp line of a college campus, association carries a unique educational function, which is irreplaceable by other student organizations. Exhibiting the contents of Education by communities of practice, bringing group education functions and practical education functions into play is a major feature of the students’associations. Precisely because of the unique educational function compromises and gives expression to students’ autonomy and subjectivity, the nation and universities pay more and more attention to the educational functions of students’ associations. However, the study of community theory research becomes more and more from the view of community management than from the view of education. Consequently, as a graduate student of pedagogy, the author chooses the topic "Research on Education Function and Optimization Strategy of University Student Associations" as thesis topics, hoping to make a little contribution to community education function of college students becoming more healthy and full development, and to students that benefited and growed up from community education, students will be able to get more and better education in the activities of societies.The study is divided into six parts:Part Ⅰ:Introduction, In this part, the author elaborated the reasons and meanings of the topic, expounded the purpose, core concepts of the study, collated and summarized the correlation studies at home and abroad, analyzed the contents, theoretical basis, methods, key points and innovation point of the research.Part II:Discussing the relationship between education functions and college students developments of students’ associations, expounding the complementary relationship of classroom education and student associations as a second classroom, and the relations of student associations and development of college students.Part Ⅲ: Finding problems of influencing community education function through survey method.Part Ⅳ: Finding out the reasons why educational functions could not bring into play well.Part Ⅴ: Giving the feasibility of optimizing education functions of student associations, and putting forward constructive countermeasures.The conclusion of the paper: there may be some shortcomings and there are those who can continue to study space.
