Study On Design And Application Of Performance Evaluation Program In W High School Based On KPI

As an important part of school human resources management, teacher performance appraisal which has a vital influence for the development of the school and teachers is the inevitable requirement for merit pay and the essential means for promoting the level of school teaching management, improving teachers’ quality, consolidating the achievements of the development of education. The current teacher performance appraisal, however, has some problems, such as attaching great importance to school administration, instead of teachers’ professional development ability, depending on student test scores heavily, while neglect of teachers’ other practical knowledge,and valuing quantization assessment method.For that, this paper taking the W middle school as the research object, based on the careful analysis of current teacher performance appraisal of the W middle school,finds out the existing problems of performance appraisal of W middle school; the factors affecting the performance appraisal of the W middle school is identified, through the review of the historical process of performance appraisal of teachers in primary and middle schools,and the comparative analysis of domestic and foreign teacher performance appraisal situation. On this basis, the paper based on the theory of performance appraisal, discusses and designs the performance appraisal of W middle school, and gives a new design of W school KPI performance appraisal index system, based on newly determining the post. In order to make the evaluation more objective and fair, and to pay attention to the process and result of teaching, we introduce a360degree evaluation method, with which we develop the W middle school performance evaluation index system, and we also put forward some improvement suggestions. Through this study, we hope to provide a new idea and method for the research of the performance appraisal of middle school.
