The reform and opening up is a landmark in the history of China, since then China has opened its doors and exchanged positively with the outside world. Following with the modernization and globalization, China occurred earth-shaking changs in the political, economic, cultural and other aspects. The great changes of the environment also make the culture of all ethnic groups in China undergone major changes, the change of Hui muslims’traditional madrasa education is exactly an example. Since the reform and opening up, under the combined action of external factors and internal factors, Chinese Hui muslims’traditional madrasa education has changed greatly in educational goals, education model, teaching content, curriculum, teaching methods and other aspects. Linxia, known as the name "Hezhou", since ancient times, Hui muslims’s madrasa education in Hezhou has been famous not only in the Northwest muslims’ areas, and also in Chinese muslims’ madrasa education around. This paper uses a multi-disciplinary perspective of anthropology, ethnology and pedagogy and selects some typical mosques Beaconsfield and Arabic schools in Linxia, which are illustrious in madrasa education in this region as the fieldwork places, by taking the changes in the Linxia Hui muslims’traditional madrasa education as a case, reviewing, analysising and researching overall Chinese Hui muslims’ traditional education changes in this period has both the theoretical value of exploring multicultural education, and the practical value of forecasting and guiding the development trend of Hui muslims’s madrasa education.
