“Ordinary high school language curriculum standard” actively advocates autonomy,cooperation, and explore learning approaches. As a result, the reform of the way of studybecomes the focus of the curriculum reform. To carry out the new curriculum reform in fullswing, high school Chinese reading teaching as a whole witnesses a significant change, that is,the principal position of students is respected; the way of autonomous learning is on the way.But in the process, there are still problems in autonomous learning. For example, there are toomore activities for students, but at the cost of not reaching the depth; Teachers completely let goso that the class is out of control, etc. How to carry out new curriculum concept, proper use ofthe new study way, and improve the students’ comprehensive ability? Qilu teacher Shi Jianzhuprovides us with guidance and demonstration from teaching concept to teaching practice.At present, despite the fact that the mechanization and stylized reading of teaching still hasits roots and that teaching reference from authoritative teaching is still popular, more and morepeople begin to attach importance to student’s status in reading teaching. What should beavoided is too much emphasis on the students’ autonomous learning, overstating theirindependent ability, which may lead to the weakening and lack of the teachers’ leading role.Teacher Shi Jianzhu, according to the language discipline characteristic and the students’learning characteristics, advocates the classroom teaching as the main channel, in the form of“autonomous learning” as the basic, to the all-round development of students as fundamentalpurpose, to teacher’s “teaching” and students “learning” of the organic combination. With hiseffective guidance, he promotes the students’ autonomous learning, and correct some errors anddeviations in the current reading teaching.This paper has a deep understanding of teacher Shi Jianzhu and his reading teaching andteaching cases, trying to explore his concept and feature of Chinese reading teaching. ShiJianzhu’s reading teaching philosophy is mainly embodied in the following aspects: first, heinherits the tradition, the spirit and innovation. For instance, Shi Jianzhu abandoned mechanicaltraditional acceptance type teaching mode, but inherited the characteristics of effective ways;meanwhile, he uses highly-creative autonomous ways of learning instead of specificallymaterialized ones of learning, which is explicit for students in a variety of classroom activities, paying attention to strengthening the individual consciousness “in the learning activities” andstimulating individual potential. Second, he advocates the personalized reading of teaching. Shistrives to highlight the personality of language lesson, grasping responsibility, showing thecharm of language lesson. In addition, Shi has his own unique view of reading: Beyond theclassroom, he makes it a rule that huge amounts of “autonomous reading” has become“lessons”; Beyond discipline, he raises students’ good habit of reading; Beyond teaching, hefocus on cultivating students’ independent spirit and noble personality.Shi’s reading teaching style, mainly displays in two aspects: one is the personalizedunderstanding of “chief” in the equal dialogue, and the other the embodiment of“people-oriented” concept. In Shi Jianzhu’s opinion, the teachers are the equal participants inthe dialogue between them and students, at the same time leading the equal dialogue, andgiving full guidance to students’ autonomous learning. In Shi’s opinion, we should put priorityto the development of students, fully motivate the students’ learning potential, strengthen thelearning experience of students, and improve student’s Chinese accomplishment. According toShi’s cases, we discuss the characteristics of reading teaching of Shi, especially the uniqueskills and effective strategy in the classroom teaching.This article is also in search of Shi Jianzhu’s Chinese reading teaching, his ideas andcharacteristics by summing up his effective and unique methods and effective strategy and onthe basis of summarized Shi’s experience in teaching Chinese reading, which brings us deepenlightenment.
