Teachers of reading is to promote teachers’occupation morality is one of the important means. Inrecent years, the primary and middle school teachers’reading present situation and in the practice of educationbrings influence gradually aroused the Chinese educatorsextensive attention and the ponder. Due to the schoolteachers to read limitations restrict the professionaldevelopment of teachers and teachers’ moral qualitypromotion, as well as the influence of social environment, leading to teachers’ moral level is seldom improve strictanyway in decline, hinders the teachers professionalmorality promotion requirements and needs.In view of the development of primary and middleschool teachers’ reading problems, in this paper, ShanxiNormal University teacher education research center toassume the task of national soft science under thebackground of teachers’ occupation morality for reading orhave no role in promoting, which enhance the roledevelopment of questionnaire survey and research work,and the results were analyzed in detail, which is putforward the corresponding countermeasures andsuggestions.This paper is divided into three parts, the first part is to survey and interview results analysis and collation,analysis of basic reading present situation is:1) nearlyhalf of the teachers do not often read, only do sometimesreading.2) the majority of teachers’ reading motivation areknowledge and broaden horizons, update their knowledgestructure.3) reading books to the discipline of teachersthe majority, other personal hobby more complex.4) themain teacher of reading media magazines, newspapersetc.. Status reflect the problems of teachers readinginitiative is not strong, the teacher read the content is toonarrow, teachers of reading atmosphere is not strong andso on. In the light of these problems, analysis the reasonsfor the problems are as follows: economic pressure;teaching task is too heavy, idle time; can read bookslimited; reading teachers lack of consciousness and so on. The second part focuses on reading for teachersoccupation morals of elevating the role: reading forteacher occupation morality promotion role; reading forteachers’ occupation morality practice promotion action;reading for teachers to enhance the role of personalmorality and wisdom. The third part on how to promoteteachers’ reading suggestions and Views:1) expand thescope of reading teachers;2) promote teachers’ readingshould adhere to some principles;3) according to thedifferent moral realm of teachers to make different readrequest;4) attaches great importance to the school andthe administrative departments of education in promotingthe work of teachers’ reading effect of.
