| Putting forward Module Teaching is a major highlight of the new curriculum reform. As anew teaching mode, we should use it flexibly and effectively. Above all we must have aclear, comprehensive understanding of it. In the first chapter, it defines the concept of"Module" and "Module Teaching", and expounds the Module and the Module Teachingcharacteristics.Chinese module teaching in High school has already been ten years up to now since itwas advocated in2003.After ten years of exploration, how the Module Teaching developedshould be paid a whole attention to and we should focus on the present situation of itsimplementation issues to do a comprehensive diagnosis, discovery, and prescription. In thispaper, in the second and third chapters,take Zhaoyuan First Senior High School forexample, the chapters look back on the resources situation of Module Teaching,the status ofthe implementation of comprehension in the school thoroughly and in details,based on theprinciple of "not flattering, no hidden evil". The chapters reveal the problems with ChineseModule Teaching. For example, the need to repair the integration module part of theModule Teaching is not complete; Modular Teaching content takes the place of the ModuleTeaching practice; selective modules do not get enough attention they deserve.Thestudents’ right of choice is lost and the Module Teaching is simplified. As a provincial keymiddle school, Zhaoyuan First Senior High School has worked on on the application ofChinese Module Teaching for more than6years. The current situation and problems ofZhaoyuan First Senior High School in the Chinese Module Teaching are certain typicaland representative. we can see from the point, surely.The purpose of looking back and finding out the problems is to explore a solution. In theforth chapter, considering the Module Teaching problems in teams of the comprehensivequality of teachers and creating suitable Module Teaching system for students, It exploresmany solutions. And optimum teaching process is also explored in the chapter. In addition,it not only explores how to improve the teachers’ ability of Module Teaching effective use;how to build a suitable Chinese Module Teaching system for students through groupcooperation, overall consideration and wholly-designed method as well, but also how toprovide a solid basis for effective Chinese Module Teaching. This chapter refers to how to optimize the Chinese Module Teaching and how to develop excellent teaching methods byusing ways of the optimization and integration of the teacher-student subjects.The effective use of Chinese Module Teaching in high schools requires a long process ofmatching. In the course there may be pains,difficulties and puzzles, but these are not thereasons for holding back our advances. The demand of time and the need of the studentsmake it necessary for us to introduce Module Teaching into the teaching at middle schools.As Chinese teachers working in the front of high schools, we should take more active in theexploration and application of the Chinese Module Teaching. |
