The traditional fiction teaching adheres to the following process of " the background of the times, some information about the fiction's author, the pronunciations and meanings of some words and phrases, the general idea of each paragraph, the theme of the passage and finally, the skills and strategies of presenting." However, it results in the phenomenon of the teachers' unwillingness to give lectures on fictions and the resistance of students' learning fictions. So it does not make any difference whether fictions are taughtas well as they are learned. On the other hand, fictions are students' favourite. According to my research, the following several malpractices cause the current situation.First, textbooks are out-of-date and the systems and structures of fictions are boring. Second, the lack of free spirit of human beings makes the matters worse. Third, the absence of teachers' fiction quality and the effect of a variety of social trends makes the situation more complicated. Fourth, the heavy learning burden of senior 3 students makes them spare little time to read and teachers can not offer students proper guidance. During daily teaching, the lack of enterprising teaching system, makes fiction teaching quite difficult. What's more, fiction nearly has no direct relationship with the College Entrance Examination. So, the New Curriculum of Chinese Teaching standard inspiresme to put forward some strategies to form the sustainable development in senior high school fiction teaching.Most importantly, we should establish the setup of centering and respecting students in fiction teaching, and our teaching process should enhance their personal understanding of various fictions, and finally, the theories of educating and teaching Chinese should be renewed.To cultivate students to become interested in reading novels and make it become a everlasting habit, we should urge students to put forward new questions according to their understanding and master the ability to associate. In addition, during our daily teaching, we should pay more attention to those gifted students who have a special understanding of what they read and encourage them to try writing some short novels under the guidance of the teachers. |
