Gymnastics since ancient times, has been important sports project.However, development in the21st century today, people’s living standardscontinue to improve, especially gymnastics equipment gymnastics status inprimary and secondary schools are growing decline. Many primary andsecondary schools for the lack of venues and equipment and gymnasticscomplex reasons for the creation of gymnastics classes are not optimistic. So,by30teachers and702students in six secondary schools in Taiyuan, and sixhuman subjects, is committed to understanding the Gymnastics Teachingstatus quo.In this paper, the literature data, questionnaire, mathematical statisticsmethods such investigation and understanding of Taiyuan junior high schoolgymnastics teaching status quo of teachers and students in six schools inTaiyuan, Shanxi Province, and this on the basis of in-depth analysisconstraints the Taiyuan junior high school gymnastics class developmentfactors, identify problems, feasibility, comments and suggestions. Provide atheoretical basis and support the reform and development of the junior highschool gymnastics classes for Taiyuan. Taiyuan City, the status quo of thejunior high school gymnastics class status quo investigation and analysis thefollowing conclusions:1Gymnastics class creation is not entirely the creation of the structure,content selection is unreasonable, not to be performed in accordance withthe school physical education curriculum, gymnastics and did not carry outextra-curricular activities, students also difficult to spontaneous practice, andthe content and form of gymnastics teaching obsolete.2In gymnastics teaching, teachers teach and students learn there aredifferences, and urban public building, the gymnastics venue shabby, lack;shortage of students penetration is very low direct impact on the in-depthdevelopment of gymnastics in school gymnastics equipment.3Uncoordinated male to female ratio of3teachers, younger teachers,lack of teaching experience, special teachers with more lack. 4PE teacher workload, difficult to complete the high demands ofgymnastics teaching, administrative classes in capacity, the equipment cannot meet the needs of the students.5teachers teaching is not based on the actual interest of the students, thestudents gymnastics often Professor participation motivation makesgymnastics classes to carry out a lot of difficulties.6new curriculum on teaching content selected relaxing, on this basis, thisis not very popular instrument gymnastics more difficult to carry out, evenin junior high school gymnastics teaching gradually disappearing, too littlegymnastics class exercises, nor reasonable arrangements unable to meet thereality of school needs.7teachers teaching methods too popular, and not with the individualstargeted, and the irrational theory course taught in a semester, students learnthe technical movements do not understand its features, functions, andgymnastics teacher professional makes skills learning there is amisunderstanding.8modern society with the increase of single child, replace gymnasticsyoga, Pilates emerging sport, gymnastics is difficult, makes it prohibitive,resulting in gymnastics classes to carry out even more difficult.9Main leaders attach importance to gymnastics class is difficult to carryout, gymnastics injury accident prone, action learning difficulties, thelukewarm attitude of the community gymnastics class, does not care aboutthis series makes gymnastics classes to carry out is not going well.10Gymnastics teaching in primary and secondary schools out of touch,gymnastics content learning and evaluation phase out of line, so that thelevel of teaching goal difficult to achieve, so teachers shy away fromteaching mode, other teaching content teaching tasks and goals.
