In the recent year, with the increasingly emergence of the ageing issues, the social support and care of the disabled elderly has substantially drawn the society’s attention. Since the disabled elderly are one of the special disadvantaged groups in the society, more attentions to the social support networks of the disabled elderly is a significant signal of economic development and social manner promotion for a country or an area. The social support of the disabled elderly should include three parts:realistically materialistic support, daily support and care service and different types of the provision of emotional care. Social work has been involved in both the elderly and the disabled social groups, which makes the disabled elderly to become a new field. Compared with the elderly without disability and the disabled with the young and middle age, the disabled elderly has a more inferior living environment. Therefore, the investigation on the population aging and the disadvantaged group of the elderly has become very essential for every state in the world at the moment.In the society of the increasingly growth of aging, a considerable number of the disabled elderly need support and care. Apparently, the establishment and development of social support networks for the disabled elderly become increasingly crucial. Through studying the disabled elderly in the "A"community by the professional method of social work, the researcher researches and analyzes the social support networks of the disabled elderly group and investigates the status quo of the social support networks in terms of family, relatives and friends, community and government. Furthermore, through the analysis of individual cases and the completely presentation of these individual cases, this study investigates the predicament and weaknesses of the establishment of the social support networks for the disabled elderly in the "A" community in terms of four aspects:their family, their relatives and friends, community and government based on the relevant theories of social support networks. This might help the disabled elderly coordinate the various aspects of the social support networks and deal with their self-difficulties, which is the fundamental origin and objective of the social support network as well as reflects the "helping people to help themselves" belief of the social work.
