Used the Standard Face Recognization faces pictures of different ages which was photo by one as the experimental materials. The first experiment selected young people (the average age was23.5years) and middle-aged people (the mean age was37.1years) as subjects, discussed the Own-age Effect in Face Recognition. The second experiment selected teachers of junior high school (as the experimental group)(the average age was37.7years) and non-teacher (as the control group)(the mean age was38.1years) as subjects, studied how the high level contact influenced the Own-age Effect in Face Recognition of junior middle school teachers. Own-age Effect in Face Recognition was a phenomenon that individuals show superior performance in recognition faces of their own age compared with other-age faces. The two experiments were investigation and verification of the exist of the Own-age Effect in Face Recognition and the influence of the high level contacts to the junior middle school teachers’Own-age Effect in Face Recognition. This research consists of two experiments:The first experiment used2(type of subjects:young participants and middle-aged subjects) x3(type of face:young face, middle-aged young face, middle-aged old face) mixed experimental design. The group variables was the type of subjects, the within group variable was the type of face. The system examines the age effect of young and middle-aged group. Experiment two used the experiment using2(type of subjects: the teacher group and non-teacher group) x2(type of face:junior school students group and middle-aged group) mixed experimental design. The group variables was the type of subjects, the within group variable was the type of face. Aiming at observe the teachers’Own-age Effect whether fluency by high level of contact or not because of the teachers’occupation. The results showed as follows:(1) The Own-age Effect existed in the recognition of photos of young and middle-aged subjects. Specifically, the young participants could recognition the young photos precise than the other groups, and the middle-aged subjects had a significantly higher level of recognition the middle-aged young group’s photo than the others. (2) The face recognition to the adults group’s photos was no significant difference of the same age level of junior high school teachers and non-teachers significant differences, but had significant difference to the junior school students. Specifically, the junior school teachers’recognition rates were the same as the non-teachers in the recognitions of the adults’photos; the junior school teachers’ recognition rates were higher than the non-teachers in the recognitions of the students’photos; the junior school teachers’recognition rates to the adults’photos and students’photos had no significant difference.
