Facing with the growing sales of educated man and the relatively insufficiency ofteaching staff, Self-Adaptive Teaching System (SATS) gradually develops. InSATS,there are great differences of students in knowledge background,abilitylevels,cognitive style and so on.Therefore,when constructing SATS,one must find outthe ability and differences of students,and then can struct operable,reasonable andcharacteristic student model.This paper gains some research results as follows.(1)This paper analyzes the research status of SATS and student model both at homeand abroad,points out the issues worthing research and clarifies the theoretical andpractical value of this paper.(2)It takes pains to the links related to the theoretical foundation of SATS,expressesthe educational psychology theoretical foundation and elaborates on principles ofSATS.It constucts the framework of SATS according to the functional requirements ofthis research.(3)It generalizes the characters of student model in SATS and expresses the generalmodeling methods and the framework of student model.It analyzes the standard,therepresenting contents,the ingredients,the characteristic information and self-adaptivenavigation of student model.And it designs the student model at last.The innovations of this paper are as follows.(1)It applies the reasoning by using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation onuncertainties of student model,summarizes a complete set of constructing student model.It provides important basis for the implement and renew of student model.(2)It initializes the student model,investigates the renew such as time, learningdegree, knowledge, mastering knowledge value and student preferences of studentmodel,which provides basis for designing the system.
