With the development of information society,the adaptive learning system focusing on students' personalized and individualized learning is catching people's eyes.Adaptive learning system began in adaptive hypermedia system,and also has the characteristics of the intelligent tutorship system,and surpass past the online learning system on the technical features,which make it become the development trend of distance learning in the future.Adaptive learning system includes three parts: student model,domain knowledge model and adaptive engine,of which student model is the most important one.The student model is abstract representations of students of the real world in computer systems,recording the individual characteristics of students,learning system act as the role of teachers to some extent.The integrity and accuracy of the representation on students' characteristics in the model is directly related to the fact learning system could provide students with a suitable learning content and learning strategies or not,etc,which is also related to the realization of the personalized learning or not.The existing student model also rarely consider the role of students' emotional factors in the learning process,which will lead to the result the students lack of emotional support in the learning process.If students encounter difficulties in the learning process and not get real emotional care from the system,it will have a negative impact on adaptive learning.Owing to lacking of bipolar communication between adaptive learning system and students,the paper puts forward a student model based on the students' emotions.Through the perception of facial expression recognition technology to the mood of the students,the paper establishes dynamic learning style,real emotional state and real-time learning motivation.The dynamic analysis principle and implementation method of the student model to learning style,emotional state and learning motivation is explained in this paper,and verifies whether it is feasible by a teaching simulation experiment.The creative and contributions in this thesis can be summed up as following:(1)The paper establishes a student model based on the students' emotions based on CS-LS student model in order to solve the problem of lacking of bipolar communication between adaptive learning system and students.The student model adds two parts in the traditional model: emotional state and learning motivation.(2)The analysis of dynamic learning styles,real-time emotional state and learning motivation.Compared with traditional student model,the advantage is that learning style,emotional state and learning motivation factors are calculated based on facial recognition technology,and learning system accesses to these information dynamically and timely.
