With the rapid development of modern information technology, the networkmedia has been introduced into thousands of households. Due to its large amount ofinformation and high speed of transmission, it is increasingly favored by people andquickly spreading to all levels of society, especially in the educational field. To bespecific, the rapid growth of network technology offers a good chance for Chineseteaching and also promotes the modernization in the composition teaching andlearning.The characteristics, such as openness, sharing and freedom, endow the networkwith great power to break through the traditional mode of composition teaching andbring new hope in junior composition teaching. Under the premise of improving themedia literacy between teachers and students and cultivating their abilities ofselecting and using the network media resources, the reasonable use of network mediain composition teaching can arouse the students’ interests, stimulate their creativedesires, provide plenty of writing resources, enrich their writing, and finally realizeinteractive remarks on writing in an interactive environment. This can improve theefficiency of composition teaching in all aspects. As a result, the composition classcan be full of vitality and vigor.Through the analysis of present situation in junior composition teaching, thispaper aims to explore the specific strategies to solve these problems in order toimprove the efficiency of composition teaching in middle school. This thesis isdivided into four parts:The first part, from the investigation of the current junior middle school thesisteaching present situation, the survey data on the basis of detailed analysis of theproblems existing in the current composition teaching, and in many ways, analyzedthe cause of composition teaching efficiency is low.The second part, on the basis of introduction to the characteristics of the networkmedia environment, explore its links with the junior middle school thesis teaching,and summed up the use of network media on composition teaching six characteristics of advantages: the awakening of writing motivation, to expand the writing origin andreduce students writing bound, reduction subject personality, implementation, andinteractive communication and understand test the composition.The third part, from how to stimulate interest in writing, the accumulation ofwriting material, rich forms of writing and optimize the composition regarding fouraspects respectively discusses the concrete application in the network media in thecomposition teaching strategy.The fourth part is about the possible challenges in composition teaching withnetwork media in China, and puts forward the corresponding security measures.On the one hand, the network media provides plenty of resources andconvenience for composition teaching. On the other hand, it also has certainchallenges for both teachers and students’ media literacy in the mixed network mediaenvironment. If we can draw on the advantages and avoid disadvantages in theteaching practice and optimize advantages of network media, the students’ writingability will be greatly improved.
