Differences between urban and rural areas in China, are not only along-standing problem, and are now a very real problem. Differencesbetween urban and rural areas show in many ways, including educationdifferences is a very important part,whose core of the education gap isthe gap between urban and rural areas of education. For the realizationof the modernization of education, to enhance national competitiveness,the quality of education in China has vigorously carried out, butfollowing differences between urban and rural areas of quality educationhas become another problem facing the development of education in China.Implementation of quality education, which is not only the directionof China’s education reform and development, but also is the need ofChina’s social and economic development and modernization of education,and improve the quality needs of all citizens of the community. High schooleducation is connected with basic education and higher education, whichis the key to the development of the education system, the quality ofeducation at the high school has great importance and necessity. For thoseurban schools,which have mature conditions and strong teachers, theimplementation of quality education is not difficult, but for those ruralschools of imperfect teaching equipment and a serious shortage of teachers,the implementation of quality education is very difficult.In order tocontinue to carry out quality education, to promote balanced developmentof quality education, investigating the implementation of urban and ruralhigh school quality education and research is very necessary. So, thispaper select high schools of Feicheng region of Taian as object of thisstudy, and investigate the status of implementation of the qualityeducation of urban and rural schools, and explore the influencing factorsof urban and rural high quality education, and put forward countermeasuresand suggestions for solving and reducing the quality of the education gap between the urban and rural high school, so as to build common, harmoniousand balanced development of the new situation of the quality of educationin urban and rural areas and to promote the smooth implementation ofquality education in the country. This thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is an introduction, including the question, literaturereview, the significance of the topic and the research ideas and meth theOD. Elaborate the importance and reality of surveying of the urban andrural quality of education, and reveal the issues to be discussed in thisarticle, and preliminary finishing analysis on the implementation ofquality education theory.The second part around the survey index system to carry out the surveydesign, through the issuance of questionnaires and interviews carried outto investigate the implementation of urban and rural high school qualityeducation to understand the status of implementation of high qualityeducation in urban and rural areas. High quality education in urban andrural areas through the analysis of the survey results, there aredifferences in the four aspects of social support, the material securityforces, the implementation of the new curriculum and teachers building.The third part is to analysis the reason to the four aspects which havedifferences in the high quality education in urban and rural.The researchshows that: the financial investment, parent’s quality, the teacher’s gap, school culture, and teacher’s continuing education are the mainfactor to affect the implementation of high quality education in urbanand rural areas.The fourth part of the paper is put forward to suggestions to solve thedifferences of quality education in rural and urban high school, such asincreased investment in rural education, improve the quality of teachersand aural parents, the development of urban and rural education, so asto promote the balanced development of high quality education in both urban and rural areas.
