Along with the rapid development of modern social political and economic, citizenparticipation is increasingly and in today’s college students’ participation is rising now, everyStakeholders cooperation and democratic sharing are the era requirements of the highereducation management. Traditionally, the colleges’ two main subject of power are managerspower and teachers authority. So the student power are veiled. But the school educationactivities usually need the managers, teachers and students to accomplish. Contemporarycollege students are adults, they have the ability to participate in the school managementactivities. The school democratization management process are constantly accelerating,traditional management system in school turns centralization into decentralization, frommanipulation to service.《The National Medium and Long-term Plan for Educational Reformand Development(2010—2020)》asks the colleges to reform the management system. Thecollege students should have the democratic and equal participation rights, so the students arenot only as the recipient of the school management activities, school management is not only aspecial power to managers and teachers.College is a typical stakeholder organization, each stakeholders work together to school.Higher education has entered into the popularization stage, the number of college students areincreasing and they are the main consumers of school. They also represent the interests ofparents, society and the employer. So the students are the important stakeholders. This articleselects the stakeholder theory as a new perspective to study college students’ participation, toexplain and to explore the students’ participation and path to look for a new paradigm, morehelp to solve the problem in practice, this is the innovation of this paper. On the basis of fullycollecting data, using literature method, comparative method,etc, the author have studiedaccording to the specific problem, question analysis and problem solving thinking. The maincontent of the article: the relevant content of the college students’ participation under thestakeholder theory, the interest expression of the college students’ participation under thestakeholder theory and the problem of college students’ participation in our country now andcause analysis, the emphasis is the implementation path of the participation of college studentsunder the stakeholder perspective. The conclusion is that implementation of the collegestudents’ participation is theoretical basis and realistic need, combining with the actual situationof college students, the students’ participation is limited, the scope and the purpose of students’participation are illustrated in the conclusion part of the article.
