| Many primary school teachers of English play their main energy and goals in the class during their teaching, ignoring the design of students’ assignment, in which the due value of the jobs lost. The research of English Assignment with Multidimensional Design in higher elementary school grades is proposed in order to improve the drawbacks of the traditional assignment. Multi-dimension means that the teachers assigned the work from multiple dimensions, such as content, space, level etc, which could expand the students’knowledge and skills of operation.In this work, a comprehensive study of English assignment in primary school high-grade was proposed, which based on the abundant research present situation, with multiple intelligence theory, internal motivation theory,"learn by doing" theory and the theory of the zone of proximal development. The method of literature research, questionnaire survey, expert interviews and comparative analysis was used in this study. The aim of this study is to make students to change from passive to active, happier to complete the job, and cultivate their interest and ability to learn from the process of completion of the job, and establish their confidence in learning English, to master the correct method of learning, culture good habits for English learning.Based on a lot of theoretical and empirical research, by surveys and interviews of students and teachers, three principles about Multidimensional Design of English Assignment in higher elementary school grades were established in this study. There are goals and hierarchical principles, fun and diversity principles, sequential and reproducibility principle. The final conclusion of this study is:as for the Multidimensional Design of English Assignment in higher elementary school grades, the content dimension of skills practicing of listening, speaking, reading and writing and the reasonable control of the amount of job design was be considered firstly; Second, the space dimension such as to promoting a powerful combination of on-class and after-class, to promoting multi-exchange must be put in thoughts. Finally, hierarchical dimensions should be considered, which concluding respecting the personality, teaching students in accordance with their aptitude.In a word, we hope that the students will benefit from the higher elementary school grades English job, not only by enriching their knowledge category, but also being more conducive to their own learning and creative learning, so as to promote their comprehensive and sustainable development. |
