In recent years, with the worsening employment situation, more and more college students chose to start a business as the main way to find a job. As a kind of new institution, how to win the fierce competition with other universities and promote the graduates to find better jobs is an emergency for independent colleges. I survey the internal and external environment of independent colleges’students, and try to figure out the connection between the entrepreneurial intention and the personality, individual resources, social environment, campus environment. I first establish the theoretical assumptions, and then use the questionnaires and SPSS to find out the answer. According to the results of empirical research, I give advices to the independent colleges about how to upgrade the entrepreneurial education and improve students’entrepreneurial intention and capacity, hoping it also works for encouraging the students to start their own business. All in all, I hope my research is helpful for the development of the independent colleges and the society. So the paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is mainly about the background and significance, and it also give a brief introduction about the main contents.The second chapter is about literature review and the discrimination of the main concepts. It introduces previous studies in entrepreneurial intention on the one hand, on the other hand, it tells about independent colleges today and the entrepreneurial intention of university students now.The third chapter is mainly about the results of an investigation using the SPSS. Such as the differences in the demographic variables and the the campus entrepreneurship environment perception.The forth chapter is about the analysis of the contents of chapter three, in order to give advices in chapter five.In the last chapter, the writer summarizes the results of this research first, and then gives three advices on how to enhance the entrepreneurship education in independent colleges.
