Under the background that the country is vigorously strengthening and improving the ideological and political work in colleges and universities,the effectiveness of ideological and political education for college students needs to be continuously improved,and the carriers of ideological and political education also need to be continuously explored and expanded.Therefore,some scholars focus their research perspectives on the development and utilization of school history resources.To promote the ideological and political education of college students.School history resources refer to the space around a specific school.Since its establishment and development,it has gradually formed various materials and materials that can meet the certain needs of the school,its students,and faculty,and can be used by them for development and utilization.The general term for immaterial elements.It not only includes the physical existence formed in the process of running a university,but also includes spiritual elements such as the concept of running a school and the tradition of the university.As a special form of resources,school history resources are reflected in the university philosophy and spirit contained in them,as well as the representative characters and deeds contained in them.Its essence is only a carrier,and it is ultimately to achieve the purpose of school development and education.rather than the study of school history resources themselves.As a unique resource formed in each university,school history resources have the functions of cultural inheritance,value orientation,moral demonstration,and aesthetic edification.Its own cultural traditions,important events,and representatives formed along the way are condensed.The spirit of the times,the spirit of the university,etc.,can play a positive role in cultivating college students’ home and country feelings,strengthening college students’ professional ideals,and promoting college students’ spirit of struggle.Therefore,it can enrich the content and carrier of ideological and political education and improve its effectiveness is very necessary.The reality is that although some colleges and universities have achieved certain results in the development and utilization of school history resources,they have not been well integrated into the education work of colleges and universities,and the practical significance of the research results has not been truly reflected.Therefore,exploring how to better integrate the school history resources into the ideological and political education of college students to give full play to the value of the school history resources has become a key issue.This article will also focus on this problem in order to find a solution.Therefore,on the basis of sorting out previous researches,this paper follows the path from theory to practice,starting from a comprehensive clarification of the core concept of this paper—the connotation of school history resources and the interpretation of its theoretical basis,and further analyzes the integration of school history resources.The internal relationship of college students’ ideological and political education,explain its characteristics,advantages and specific values,and then through empirical investigation and combined with the induction of existing research theories,the current situation of both positive and negative aspects of the integration of school history resources into college students’ ideological and political education is carried out.Summarizing and analyzing,focusing on the current problems of school history resource education and its causes,put forward practical and feasible optimization countermeasures to promote the effective integration of school history resources,making it truly a favorable carrier of ideological and political education for college students.
