College Adult Ideological And Political Education Research

The value of the ideology and political education, compared to 'lifeline', has been confirmed by our Chinese Communist Party for laying the ideological foundation of making all kinds of works develop prosperously. It still works in the development of the adult department in university. But it hasn't been done practically as it is supposed to be. The problems existing in adult undergraduates make it to be a more and more prominent contradiction by the reality of the ideology and political education and the great demands of it by adult education. The author believes that the adult department of university should strengthen the ability construction of the adult undergraduates' ideology and political education to solve the existing problems to make them study better and promote themselves.The author analyses what the ideology and political education supposed to be, and expounds the value of the ideology and political education. Then she investigates the actuality of the ideology and political education of adult undergraduates in qualitative research by interviewing some concerned teachers and giving out the questionnaires, and concludes some successful experiences and problems still existed. The author tries to analyze some reasons leading to the problems in the social macroscopic and the school microcosmic level in the following. Finally, the author gives some suggestions to the ideology and political education of adult undergraduates in the base of the theoretic research and the practical survey, expecting helpfully to the further development of adult higher school.
