| For the present situation of downward physical indicators of Chinese universitystudents, the author carried on a twelve-week low strength BaDuanjin exerciseintervention in this thesis. Through a comparison of instrument test, the authorresearches the influences of fitness Qigong(BaDuanjin) for university students’physiological function, and discusses on the feasibility of carrying on BaDuanjin inuniversity, in order to promote university students’ physical health.This thesis based on documents and materials, interview, experiment and datastatistical analysis. One hundred and twenty nine fresh students of Changchun TourismCollege were chosen randomly and divided into training group (n=64, male=33,femal=31) and compared group (n=65, male=32, femal=33). The first group took a lowstrenth training of BaDuanjin, which last twelve weeks. The second group live a normallife as before. From the test, the author will make a compared research ofstudents’physical shape, physical function and sports quality.BaDuanjin makes an obvious improvement of university students’ physical shape,physical function and sports quality. The research shows: after twelve-week exercise,we can see a significant difference on male training group’s vital capacity and bodymass exponent (p≤0.01), Pulse rate and systolic blood pressure(p≤0.05), as well as thesingle foot standing(p≤0.01), the standing long jump(p≤0.01),and the grip strength(p≤0.05).Also we can see a significant difference in female training group’s femalewaist (p≤0.05),WHR(p≤0.05), as well as vital capacity and body mass exponent(p≤0.01), pulse and diastolic pressure(p≤0.05), sit and reach(p≤0.05), the standinglong jump(p≤0.05),the grip strength and closed single foot.According to the above research data, this thesis proposes some related suggestions:because of rich cultural connotation, a long history and unique fitness value, BaDuanjinshould be incorporated into public sports course in the university; BaDuanjin is a lowstrength aerobic exercise, so it can be combined with other high strength sport courses,for instance, football, track and field course and so on, which is used to do preparationactivities or relax. It is a good way to combine “dynamic†with “static†in sports courses; in university sports courses, teachers should introduce and guide BaDuanjin. On the onehand, it can build up students’ body, on the other hand, it propagates the nationaltraditional sports culture, join the nationwide body-building, serve the masses, andcontribute to construct harmonious society. |
