| Under the influence of the great transformation of the world’s politic and economy, a new century dominated by knowledge economy is appearing before us. Facing the new situation, new challenges and new opportunities, our cadres are being tested and it’s necessary to improve the quality of the leading cadres of all levels. Obviously, it’s not enough by simply implementing full-time postgraduate education to meet the needs for the applied high-level expertise of all sectors of the society. Therefore, we must be well aware that the implementation of the postgraduate education in the Party school of CPC①is the noble duty given by history, which is not only the need of building the capable cadres teams in the new period, both also the need of improving the quality of the cadres themselves. Also the postgraduate education in the party school of CPC plays an important role in the promotion of cadres’education, economic and social development, expanding the party school’s influence, training the teachers’team and enhancing the level of teachers’scientifically research. In order to run the postgraduate education in the party school of CPC successfully, it is necessary to adhere to the goal of persisting in the national standards and performing the features of the party school, focusing on the educational quality. The quality of the party school depends on whether we can master the rules and characteristics of the on-job postgraduate education and cultivate qualified people. The paper will make an analysis on the problems and shortcomings of the postgraduate education in the party school of CPC against the background of constructing a learning society by comparing the postgraduate education models of the party school and the common colleges. The author proposed to strengthen the education of scientific theories of socialism and practical education, to improve and perfect the training programs and curriculum of the postgraduate education, and form a curriculum system featured by the party school. Also the party school should broaden the trainees’ knowledge and improve their ability to solve problems by arranging the elective courses and seminars; improve the teachers’comprehensive quality, optimize and integrate the teachers’team, promote the sharing of teaching resources and achieve the optimization configuration of the party school’s resources by building the teacher resources; benefit both teaching and learning, improve the trainees’learning enthusiasm and initiative and improve the teaching quality by innovating the teaching modes, such as experiential, research, case-based and interactive learning; reform the traditional mode of the combination of self-learning and face-to-face teaching and solve the trainees’ contradiction of job and study by taking full advantage of multimedia technology; build a new e-teaching platform by integrating the traditional instructing teaching with the modern e-teaching; improve the teaching results and educational quality of the postgraduate teaching, and achieve the optimization and integration of the two modes by building a new e-teaching mode; relieve the stress of lacking of teachers, project and expand the prestigious teachers’social influence, spread the famous professors’branded and excellent courses and achieve the maximization of the social benefit based on the educational quality by network video teaching and sharing high-qualified teaching resources; provide the on-job postgraduates a free, relaxing and flexible study atmosphere and an opportunity to study actively and build their own knowledge system by reforming the traditional management system, i.e. transform from scholastic year system to the credit system, which will play an active role in improving their overall qualities and innovation capacity and promote the development of personality; by strictly guaranteeing the guidance, review and defense of theses, help the trainees to complete their theses successfully and thus improve the quality of the postgraduate education, stimulating the development of the postgraduate education in the party school of CPC. |
