| College students are the pillars of the society. Ideological and political education of college students is related to the success of talent development, social progress and national prosperity. College Students’ Ideological and political education, is in ceaseless exploration of how to exert the educational function. At the end of1990s, a positive psychology movement launched in the US which dedicated to the study of the force of virtue and positivity, and advocate active, laudatory view of each individual,provided the new conception for every domestic ideological and political educator, promoted the perfection of university student ideological and Political Education method in our country. The author attempts to combine the two conceptual category of the ideological and political education of college students and positive psychology together, trying to breakthrough in the theory and practice of positive psychology, applying which in the concrete practice of the ideological and political education, in order to promote ideological and political education of college students’ all-round development. This article is mainly composed of three parts:The first part concentrates the inner relationship between college students’ ideological and political education and the basic idea of the positive psychology. This part starts with the meaning of positive psychology and positive psychology, briefly introduces the scientifical definition of it. Then,it introduces the three main contents of positive psychology--positive emotional experience, positive personality traits and positive organizational environment system; analyzes the core idea and the development characteristic of the positive psychology. At last, it sums up the necessity and feasibility of the combination of positive psychology idea and university students’ Ideological and political education, mixes vigorous psychology positive conception with the ideological and political education of college students,to enrich and guide the theory of college students’ Ideological and political education.The second part concentrates on the main basis, basic principles and practice requirement of applying positive psychology to the Ideological and political education of college students. First of all, this part states the two major theoretical basis of the application of positive psychology in Ideological and political education of college students in the angles of the Marx’s principle and the scientific outlook on development. Secondly, it elaborats the reality basis of these two ideas in three aspects, the objective requirement in the practice of Ideological and political education, the objective requirement of the overall development of college students, and demand for the consistency of the former two. In the end, it illustrates the application of the three basic principles which are the principles of the combination, the effectiveness, and the subsidiarity, with the requirements of the specific practice, to set a foundation of the third part application practice.The third part is the focus of this article.It concentrates on how positive psychology principle can be used in the ideological and political education of College students in mainly four aspects, firstly, the establishment of the positive college students’ Ideological and political education conception, we should take advantage of the core position and the function of the education of the students,to establish the positive prevention conception instead of the traditional negative psychology approach to the problem. Secondly, we should carry out college students’ Ideological and political education from positive cognitive style, emotional experience, personality traits and volitional action. Thirdly, enhance the enthusiasm, improve work efficiency from the ideological and political educator of its own level, school level, social level, in order to serve the education service better. Finally, we should optimize the environment of College Students’ Ideological and political education together in family, school and society to promote the constantly improvement of political education. |
