People’s Education Press is a traditional big press of Chinese textbook writing and publication. It has been published several sets primary and middle school Chinese textbook since the founding of the nation.Since the new period, along with the changes of society, the PEP is keeping up with the pace of the times and constantly revises and corrects the Chinese textbook published by it, and every change has aroused widespread concern in the society.To summarize experiences and lessons learned in high school language textbook writing of PEP since the new period, the study object of this paper is based on the representative four sets of textbooks published by PEP in the new period, including1983,1990,2002edition and curriculum Standard Edition,and I undertakes comprehensive statistics, and analysis. Making my own thinking based on the combing of evolution, and making suggestions for the perfection of textbook.This paper studies are specifically divided into three parts:The first part:Introduction. The purpose of this study and related research reviewed.The second part:Chapter I-Chapter IV. Combing the evolution (focus on the textbook changes) of the PEP four sets of textbook and making analysis from four aspects of the system of the selected text, readers systems, operating systems, knowledge systems in the new era.The third part:the fifth chapter.Making reflection about the evolution of PEP high school language textbook in the new period based on the analysis of this paper and giving suggestions to improve the textbooks.
