Since twenty-first Century, China’s higher education has get into the popularization stage from elite education, ushered in a new development opportunity, also face grim challenge. Under the combined influence of extrinsic and intrinsic factors the College Counselors in occupation development, appeared the dilemma. In recent years, our government has adopted a series related laws in a macro-way to support to universities counselors. At the same time, some universities have begun to Pay attention to the career development of instructors and made significant practical exploration. Yet, due to the lack of policy on concrete and scientific professional management and instructors. Positive self-awareness about career plan, a large portion of instructors is not satisfied with their job, which results from their incapability and pessimism about the prospects. Therefore, it has an significant meaning to establish a university instructor career management system, to solve the problem of universities instructors’Career development predicament, People and post matching, contribution maximizing energy of people to society. It has an important significance for both university instructor and universities.This article focuses on instructors in a certain region, through questionnaire and interview, from the angle of organization and individual, in-depth analyses the problems of current university instructor career development, for example, the development of the counselors in universities has such problems as the ambiguity of the role location and the inconformity between the comprehensive quality and profession competence and real working requirements, the illegitimacy of the instructors construction and unsoundness of internal managerial system of the universities and so on. This article finds out the reasons of these problems, in the view of the existing problems and reasons this article put forward the strategy of c university instructor career. On the organizational aspect, society and universities need to further strengthen the university instructor’ attention degree, further classification of instructor career is needed to promote the specificity, and oriental training is necessary for creating more favorable opportunities of setting up scientific platform for instructors and further perfecting career permission and certificate affirmative institute, which then is helpful for widening its profundity, while on the university level, scientific professional management must be set up, including enhancing the training mechanism, establishing of Counselor’s career management evaluation mechanism, establish counselors occupation career management incentive mechanism, the widening of career choice, insurance system of promotion and matched management of strategic human resources, to establish the scientific reach mechanism of Counselor’s occupation career management. What is more important is that on the personal level, the instructors should have awareness of career plan and control career development by recognition, purpose making, active plan and assessment, make the career management to be scientific and standardized.In conclusion, the society and the universities should strengthen the instructor career management, to create a favorable external environment and supporting conditions for instructor career development. University Counselors career plan should focus on the cultivation of University Counselors’ self-establishment, innovation consciousness and innovation ability, self-control and self-help skills, study and thinking ability, social responsibility and national consciousness; international idea, and the pursuit of life value of the positive attitude; strengthen social moral education, to establish the correct values and career moral values; organization should further help universities instructor self-cognition and consideration to their interests, potential power and career of social value, to guide universities instructor to combine their knowledge and ability background to the career guidance advisory services to plan their career development way。At the same time, the counselors should also strengthen their own self occupation career management, self awareness, self assessment, the occupation development opportunities for analysis and judgement, self development goals, to develop specific development planning, development plan, in order to realize the harmonious development between the individual and society. It is also the research value of this paper.
