The integration of information technology with curriculum is a new way of the21century basic education teaching reform. he current high school geography curriculum standard illustrates:"We are supposed to create geography curriculum based on the modern information technology," the integration of information technology geography curriculum is the inevitable trend of geographical education development.Local high school geography teaching is an important part of1geography teaching, which advocates as the carrier of comprehensive study.Along with the deepening of the integration research as well as the accumulation of teaching practice of geography course and information technology, the integration research of the local geography and information technology is bound to be an vital branch of it.Local geography teaching in rural middle schools is often limited by such factors as school hardware and software environment,teaching resources and teaching ideas which are in the status of being marginalized, making many rural middle schools local geography teaching very weak.Though Some rural middle school has paid much attention to local geography teaching, they are often faced with many difficulties in teaching materials, teachers and teaching methods.This paper is intended to serve as an example of integration research of regional LiShuiXian on rural middle schools and local geography information technology teaching, through research, to provide reference for the development process of local middle school geographic resources available, which is related to the integration of modern information technology, how to re-integrate the local geography materials to meet the demands of local geography teaching based on the integration of modern information technology as well as some applicable local geography teaching models in which multi-media internet classroom can be made the most of so that we hope to transform the local geography teaching situation and provide new thought to better students’learning methods of local geography information.
