In order to implement the requirements of the 18 th CPC national congress on " cultivating morality and cultivating people",further deepen the curriculum reform of basic education,the Ministry of National Education has officially promulgated Geography Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools(2017 edition)at the beginning of 2018.Some new teaching objectives are put forward by Geography Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools(2017 edition),that is the goal of geographical core literacy.It's aims to enable students to learn to understand and observe the geographical things and phenomena around them from a geographical perspective,and use the geography knowledge to solve practical problems and promote the all-round development of students,so lay a foundation for cultivating socialist successors with all-round development of morality,intelligence,physique,art and labor.Local geography is a small area comprehensive geography existing around students which is also an indispensable part of teaching,therefore,the use of local geographic resources for teaching is in conformity with the requirements of the new curriculum standard.With the development of the times,there are more and more researches on the development and utilization of local geographic resources throughout the country,however,there are few researches on the local geography of Chongqing's districts and counties.For this reason,it has certain practical significance to studies the current situation of the application of local geography resources in high school geography teaching in the area of Kaizhou,Chongqing.The research is mainly based on the new curriculum standard and practical requirements,the theory of meaningful receptive learning,the theory of the zone of proximal development,the paradigm teaching method and the theory of effective teaching for theoretical support;then using questionnaires and SPSS to analyzes the current situation and problems of the application of local geography resources teaching in Kaizhou;and then carrying out teaching experiments of local resources and evaluating the effectiveness,test the experimental results to illustrate the effectiveness of teaching local geographic resources by Z Test method;finally,putforward the corresponding strategy to promote the development and utilization of local geographic resources in Kaizhou,it also provides some teaching practice for the teaching of local geographic resources in other districts and counties of Chongqing.The article is mainly divided into six parts:The first part:this paper discusses the research background and realistic background of the local geography teaching,it's research significance and status at home and abroad and so on.The second part:to define the relevant theories of local geography teaching,discuss the psychological theoretical basis of this topic,and correlation analysis of Geography Curriculum Standard for Senior High School(2017 Edition)and local geography resources.The third part:based on the principle of conforming to students' psychological development level,sorting out suitable local geographical resources on the compulsory 1,2 teaching material content.The fourth part:according to the questionnaire survey of geography teachers in high schools in Kaizhou,high school geography teachers in Kaizhou have a strong awareness of using local geography resources,however,it is not widely used in geography teaching.This is mainly due to the lack of multi-party cooperation,teachers have no effective access to local resources,but also worried that the application of local geographical resources teaching waste time,therefore,the usage situation is not ideal,and neglected the research study and the practice activity investigation.The fifth part:Carrying out teaching experiments on local geographic resources,evaluate the effectiveness of local geography teaching classes from the perspective of teachers and students,then take a test on the core quality of geography,using Z test and EXCEL to analyze the results of two tests to shows that local geography teaching is beneficial to stimulate students' interest in learning and cultivate students' core geography literacy.The sixth part:in view of the existing problems in the teaching and application of local geographic resources in Kaizhou,the strategies of obtaining and using local geographic resources are put forward respectively.The acquisition strategies are:(1)Read more books and newspapers,obtaining local resources in text form.(2)Practice more investigation and get first-hand information.(3)Establishment of Local Geography Education Base.(4)Construction of Local Geography Practice Base.The usage strategies are:(1)Using local geographical resources can be in the lead-in of class,class training and design a teaching case.(2)Taking "the influence in the urbanization process of Kaizhou and the exploration of governance measures" as the subject for research study.(3)Using the basketball court of the school to "measure the longitude and latitude of the school" to carry out geographical practice activities.The last part:summarize and reflect on this research.
